EARNING A PhD
Supporting young researchers is one of our most important tasks at the Leibniz-WissenschaftsCampus. Superior doctoral dissertations are key to excellent scientific research and academic quality. Therefore, supervising and training PhD students takes high priority.
The Leibniz-WissenschaftsCampus is an interdisciplinary research project. Through its expansive network, doctoral students in the fields of psychology, informatics, medicine, biology didactics, and educational science normally earn their doctorates at the participating research institutions or with the individual faculties of the participating universities. They are supervised in their specialty by the professor or workgroup leader in their own scientific institutions.
The Leibniz-WissenschaftsCampus strives to support the regional, national and international networking of PhD students of its participating institutions. The Leibniz-WissenschaftsCampus offers its PhD students exchange possibilities 1) within the network, through campus meetings, doctoral retreats or doctoral meetings, 2) internationally, through a summer school, and 3) through attendance of international conferences where contacts can be made and research results can be presented.
